Dr. Timothy Harrington Appointed to Join Fidelis Education

The newest Managing Director brings years of experience in higher education to Silicon Valley edtech startup.

Fidelis Education announces the appointment of Timothy J. Harrington, Ed.D to be Managing Director, effective August 29, 2016.

Harrington comes to Fidelis after more than ten years with DeVry Education Group where he held multiple positions focused on academic leadership, student success, and education technology research. His experience also includes 15 years of progressive leadership and student success with Cogswell Polytechnical College, Savannah College of Art and Design, and The Art Institutes.

"I am excited to take this next step in my career, which allows me to work with an education technology company truly focused on making a difference in student education and success. My experience with Fidelis as a customer afforded me an opportunity to see how valuable the Learning Relationship Management (LRM) system is. I'm eager to bring it to other learning organizations," Harrington said.

Harrington holds a doctorate in Education Leadership specializing in Higher Education from Argosy University, a Master of Art in Education from San Jose State, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Art and Technology from the State University of New York in Oswego. He a member and featured speaker for the Greater Arizona e-Learning (gAZel) consortium, and is active member of the Verde Valley Forum on higher education.
